Dear Jo,
We write to you In a time of sadness. After a grueling 6 month battle with brain cancer our beloved 15 month old, magical unicorn Finn has passed beyond the Veil and left behind heart broken parents, family and a multitude of friends who have been praying and hoping for a miracle.
Finn's sweet parent's, Allison and Ryan, have drawn great strength and hope from you Jo, they both adore your work and had hoped to bring their sick little baby to visit Harry Potter world but alas he was never well enough to make the trip. At his funeral he was buried with a hand made wand (as we all know "no young wizard should be without his wand") and dear friends made him a little Ravenclaw cloak to honour him:
Dumbledore's words will ring true for all time:
"to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us Some protection forever"
And we thank you for this protection but we ask now if you could be so kind to write a little message of hope to his dear parents, Allison and Ryan, who are in such need of your light. Indeed happiness can be found in the darkest of times but we feel that, right now, they could use a little help turning on the light.
We love you Jo and are so grateful for your goodness.
